About Us

Hertfordshire Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Partnership is, as the name suggests, a partnership of minority ethnic organisations from across the county - Dacorum Multicultural Association, Dacorum Communities Together, North Hertfordshire Minority Ethnic Forum, Stevenage World Forum for Ethnic Communities, Watford One World Forum and Welwyn Hatfield Ethnic Minority Group.  Other members of the partnership are the CVS for Broxbourne and East Hertfordshire, St Albans CVS, Three Rivers Council for Voluntary Service and the Minority Ethnic Network for the Eastern Region (MENTER), the regional Black and Minority Ethnic network.

We exist to provide a voice and support to the county’s Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) voluntary and community sector organisations.  These frontline organisations would, in turn, be better able to meet the needs of their members and the wider community.  We do this by providing one-to-one support to groups as well as working together with our other partners in the wider voluntary and community sector (VCS) and public authorities, ensuring BME organisations and the communities they serve access the help and support they require.
